Cleaning your JUUL

Cleaning your JUUL

How often do you clean your Juul? Do you even think about it? Try to remember how long ago you bought your Juul. Now think about the last time you cleaned it (that is assuming you have done so) in the past. Maintaining a regular cleaning schedule for your Juul ensures that it will function longer and work properly for a longer . All you need are a few tools, and a little patience.

If you do keep up with cleaning your Juul, sometimes changes in altitude and travel may cause the pod to leak a little. A simple cleaning will keep buildup from forming, and it will keep you from having to accidentally taste liquid nicotine.

First, you will need to gather your materials to help you clean your Juul; it’s only four things.

  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Q tips
  • Paper towels
  • Tweezers

First, remove your Juul pod. Use your paper towel or Q tip to dry any excess liquid that is in the juul pod slot.

Next, drain the metal connection pins:

  • First, take your tweezers and use them to drain the metal connection pins. This keeps the connection to the pods consistent, and it creates openings to get the juice to flow into the Juul’s battery.

  • Since the metal connection pins are spring loaded, they allow the juices to release the flavor into the Juul. Those little spring loaded pins need to be cleaned. Buildup can occur, and inhibit the flow of the liquid.

Invert the Juul battery, and use the Q tip to compress the pins. Any excess liquid trapped inside will come out. Keep doing it until there is no more residue on the Q-tip.

Another method used to clean the Juul is the alcohol cleaning method:

It’s pretty easy: all you have to do is soak your Q tip, squeeze out the excess, and make sure it’s damp. Invert your Juul and clean around the metal pins. Do not compress them! Use the dry side of the Q tip to wipe up any excess dirt or moisture. Remember, do not compress the pins.

Keeping a regular cleaning schedule for your Juul is a surefire way to extend the life of your Juul.
